Year 4 Tudor Day
Year 4 had a super end to the term with our exciting Tudor topic culminated with a banquet. Children enjoyed sharing their art work and topic work in an open gallery.
They performed dance choreographed in P.E., ask them what a parvane or galliard is? The children danced as upper and lower class people from the period. We were delighted Mrs Collyer was able to bring some children from the nursery as an audience.
All the children prepared pottage, a broth like recipe, as well as mince pies. Year 4 worked so hard on writing their Tudor narratives during the term, and so the banquet also provided an opportunity for some children to share their work to an audience. In maths we explored multiplication.
